Title: "Misunderstood Minds: Understanding Kids Who Struggle to Learn"
Featuring: Mel Levine, M.D., Edward M. Hallowell, M.D. and other leading experts in the field of learning problems. Follow five families as they deal with the challenges of trying to solve the puzzling mysteries of why their bright child can’t learn. Meet Nathan who masked his inability to read by memorizing, Laura, socially isolated and having difficulty in school, and whose parents agonized over the decision of whether to medicate, and Adam, who slipped through the cracks with undiagnosed learning problems, leading to serious consequences. Based on the emerging philosophy that each mind works differently and has its own strengths and weakness, discover how learning specialists open the door to success through early identification and individual management of each child’s learning differences.

Take the NE 124th Street exit (exit 20)
Turn left onto NE 124th Street
Turn left at the second light onto 124th Avenue NE (Totem Lake Blvd)
Take the next right, onto 120th Ave NE.
Turn right onto NE 130th Lane
Go up the hill past the Emergency Entrance
Follow the signs to the Blue Entrance parking garage
Park and follow the signs to the Evergreen Surgery & Physicians Center
From Northbound I-405
Take the NE 124th Street/Totem Lake Boulevard exit (exit 20B)
Keep to the right, following Totem Lake Boulevard Exit signs
Proceed straight through the light on 120th Ave NE
Turn right onto NE 130th Lane
Go up the hill past the Emergency Entrance
Follow the signs to the Blue Entrance parking garage
Park and follow the signs to the Evergreen Surgery & Physicians Center
From Hospital to Northbound I-405:
Exit parking garage and turn left onto NE 130th Lane
Turn left at the light onto 120th Ave NE
Continue straight through every light and onto Northbound 405 onramp
